Chain Operated System

The Chain Operated System is a magnetic system designed for manual operation, providing both raising and tilting functions for venetian blinds incorporated within 16mm or 20mm insulating glass units.

To facilitate its operation, an external magnetic device is applied to the glass using high-resistance adhesive tape. This device consists of a cord loop and a magnet that perfectly interfaces with the magnetic joint of the internal drive, which is housed entirely within the head rail. By manipulating the cord, the magnets rotate, activating the movement of the blind. A special cord tensioner applied to the glass ensures that the cord remains under tension.

While the Chain Operated System is particularly well-suited for residential applications, its versatility extends beyond that, making it suitable for various other settings.

Over time, this system maintains the insulating properties of the double or triple glazing unit, offering protection against dirt and adverse weather conditions. The integrated unit can be seamlessly fitted into the window frame, similar to standard insulating glass, and it is supplied with warm edge spacer bars as a standard feature.
